American College of Cardiology
The American College of Cardiology (ACC) was founded in 1949, establishing it’s headquarters, Heart House, in 1977, and it’s
mission is to advocate for quality cardiovascular care through education, research promotion, development and application of standards and
guidelines, and to influence health care policy. ACC is dedicated to keeping the interests of their patients a priority, promoting growth,
dissemination and application of knowledge about cardiovascular medicine, and making contributions to medical care that should be
recognized and enhanced.
